FRANK DOBISKY, president, a former AP journalist, newspaper reporter, radio news director and a managing editor, has spent 25 years traveling to campuses and media offices across America. He has helped institutions with their national media programs — placing stories with editors, writers, reporters and broadcast producers, and introducing higher education leaders to national media in New York and Washington. He has provided counsel to colleges and universities on crisis communications, marketing and personnel. He brings to your team the wisdom and experience of 20 years in media plus 28 years as a media consultant to colleges and universities nationwide, the last 24 years heading his own firm.

CHERRYL JENSEN, associate, brings more than 25 years experience in public relations in higher education to the Dobisky team. She has worked with major research universities — as news bureau director at Michigan State University and director of university relations at Iowa State University. She also was director of communications for Heritage College, a small private school in Washington that serves a multicultural population. Cherryl is the owner of CK Jensen Communications, a freelance writing and public relations firm that serves clients in the news media, higher education, health organizations and small business. She also leads creative writing workshops and has published a number of poems.
